Not really. First you have to activate the midi button (one click),
then you have to click on either the "record note velocity" button
(another click) . . or the "record pitch" button (another click) .

.or the "record note off velocity" (another click) . . . or any
combination thereof. Then you have to click on the note (another
click). Also . . . . how does Cubase SX "know" you are finished
modifying the note? It doesn't. It moves to the next note regardless.
