Hi there, Just quick mail to say thank you very much for your reply (skia@...) to my post on LUG; I managed to get it all connected last night i.e. I could get a sound from the XV5050 through to the EMI and out to my mixer/monitors. But where I am a little confused is my midi keyboard, it's a PC300 and I'm connecting it over MIDI to the midi in of the EMI (via the connector), the XV5050 is connected to the EMI via USB, but when I press a key on the keyboard I don't get any midi signal going to the XV5050. I know that the PC300 and the XV5050 do talk and play a sound as I tried just connecting the keyboard straight to the XV5050 and a signal was sent to the XV5050 and it produce the sound. Any idea why it does not in the first instance? Do I need to have Logic up and running in order to get the PC300 and the XV5050 to talk via the EMI? Real sorry for all the questions but it certainly sounds like you know what you are doing and I appreciate your advice!! Many thanks! Steve
