I have upgraded to Logic Gold 5 and am raring to go on multiple outs.
Battery is not showing in the multi instrument menu in Logic only the stereo
menu.

hello,
u have to make sure first that you run at least logic 5.2...
when u first launch battery-vst, the default outputs is on 2stereo, you have
to go into the optionsmenu in battery, change the number of outputs, then
you get a message that you have to relaunch battery for the changes to be
effective.....DONE!! ..

When you open the instrument like stereo then go in option and setup how
many stereo and mono cha you want. Press ok and then Logic will ask for
restarting the program so restart and go in Multichanel it's there.
Thanks to the guy that mentioned the limitation of how many outputs you can
assign. I had 1 stereo pair and 16 mono outs set in Battery. I reduced this
to 1 pair and 8 mono. Now it shows up in the multi instrument menu and I am
experiencing individual eq and reverb and volume faders on each drum,
crucial.
Not having something for so long makes you appreciate it alot.
Now I just need to learn all Logics functions to help my drum programming
become fluid. I want to make an environment object that spreads the
velocities of one drum over say 16 keys like what the Akai MPCs do. That
would be good for drum editing. I also am about to check out the new step
input features of V5.
Peace.
