Hi, this has been mentioned already, but I think most of the group did not realize this: There is an OS X VSTi host out (at least as a beta). With this useful tool, you can play VSTis with Logic via Core MIDI!! At the moment, it is still crashing a lot, and there is no way to reroute the audio into Logic so far (except analogue inputs), so it is not a "full" VST wrapper. But at least it gives you the opportunity to play VSTis with Logic. So this should improve the current (and very user unfriendly) situation with Steinberg neglecting AU and Emagic/Aplle not implementing VST. You can find further information on osxaudio.com .
