Subject: [LAW] 5.5.1 Easy question, but I don't get it.
Message #134003
Hello all, Time for a newbie question, even though I have been using this program for over a year :) When I have something selected in the Audio Mixer, and say I make some kind of a mod, why does it change the currently selected track in the Arrange window to the object I was working with in the Audio mixer? Also, how do I go about changing one back without affecting the other? I do this all the time, and I have not figured this out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Paul

If you're talking about the "Track Mixer" then that should answer your question. It's another view for your Tracks - i.e., an alias to the track in the arrange page rather than, what you're thinking about, being a separate object altogether. That's your first step to understand. > Also, how do I go about changing one back without affecting the other? > > I do this all the time, and I have not figured this out. Any help is > appreciated. Use a different track (with a copy or alias of the sequence from the other track)... (which is assigned to a different Audio Object - see the Audio layer in the environment as well) > Thanks, > > Paul with regards, -- Lachlan Deck ldeck@...
