Subject: [LAM] More than one PCI card with Logic?
Message #133999
Just bought a LynxONE soundcard. Sounds great. Can I use my digi001 (Direct I/O) and the Lynx (ASIO) using all the ins and outs on both cards at the same time (with the 001 for midi) with Logic 5.5 OS9?

Make sure the cards have their sample clocks synced (via external wordclock to both or via digital connection from one to the other). But be aware that they'll use completely separate audio engines in Logic - for example you won't be able to route from tracks/instruments/inputs assigned to card A to a bus or output assigned to card B, or vice versa. Don't know about the 001 midi. John Pitcairn ------------------------------------------------------------------ Midi controller learn in Logic. Soft takeover. Lots of memories. Tracks remember control assignments. Write track automation. Fadermapper demo: http://www.revolver.co.nz/fadermapper/ ------------------------------------------------------------------

BE VERY CAREFULL BEFORE BUYING YOUR LYNXONE. Take all guarantee to be able to take the card back if it does not work. The Digi 001 is the worst card to be married with another one. Not dual proc, a lot of problems with dual video cards I have moved to a Motu system since 2 years now because I was told that a DIGI 001 and a Motu 324 could not cohabit Best regards Cyril Blanc France
