Subject: [LUG] [GEN] Logic saving in 3 of 4 staffs. Please help me figure the problem.
Message #133942
I have a four staff score of a string quartet. I am now working to overlap certain notes to give it a more legato feeling on midi playback. The sound is just what I want. The problem that I am having is that Logic will only allow me to save these alterations in 3 of the 4 staffs (not the viola). I notice in the matrix window that as soon as I hit save (apple S) the notes of the viola pop back to their original positions. Here is what I want: --------| |------- |--------| this --------|- -|------- -|--------|- becomes this At the qua setting I have (16, 24) I am able to extend the notes just 1/32 in each direction without the score changing which is OK because it gives me just the sound I am looking for. Qua is set to 16, 24 which gives me score just like I want (shortest note is a 16th). Interpretation off Syncopation ON No overlap off Max Dots 1 How do I get Logic to save this in all four staffs?
