Huh!
Can't you do this?
I mean, at least for certain configurations this defenitely is possible.
"Certain" because I can't for example see a 1212 audio
configuration on my
machine, so maybe for people without an AW8 installed they wouldn't see my
settings after a song transfer as well (never tried that...).
But well, how about this, works over here (I assume your homemade song uses
the PC/AV audio driver):
- load in into the studio machine
- make sure the PC/AV driver is switched off (I experienced some problems
when it was activated)
- open the audio configuration window, choose PC/AV from the device menu
- choose "copy"
- go to the "AW8" entry in the device menu
- choose paste
- go to the audiomixer, select all audio objects and set them to from
"PC"
to"AW"
- finished
As said, I did that some times for testing purposes (EWS64/ASIO vs. AW8/ASIO
vs. AW8/native). Allways worked fine.
Good luck,
Sascha
