The current subrelease (4.06) has partial support for the velocity engine. Download it at <www.emagic.de> Emagic plans to add even more support in future versions. For example, the main engine is supported but not individual plugins right now. It all works perfectly fine in a G4, and it's all faster than a G3 even without Velocity support, but not *everything* is ENHANCED beyond that. I don't know about 4.06 Gold. I certainly hope that Emagic starts making Platinum more obviously a superior product over Gold (it's more difficult to sell Platinum than it used to be). I suppose the marketing bean-counters have more to say about this than the programmers? >BTW is the planned softsynth in 4.1 going to be for platinum >only or for gold also? The softsynth (ES1) is not free as far as I know. Sure, 4.1 will be the first version to support it, but you should check with your local Emagic supplier to get a price on the ES1 itself. I seriously doubt that ES1 would be only compatable with Platinum, especially if it's something you pay for. f-erenc "Without chemicals, he points"
