We have LAP 4.04 installed over WIN98 on a Dell presision workstation with 10,000rpm SCSI hard-drives, a Gina soundcard (everything not used for midi and audio has been disabled in the bios) and an Opcode 2port MidiEngine. We have the latest drivers for everything. Logic crashes regularly - says stuff like "System too slow" (hardly, the PC has 256MB RAM and a PIII500 Xeon processor). We have tried nearly everything. Does anyone know what could be causing this? We are at our wits end and are thinking of returning to Cubase VST. Help!
