Hi there, I've just searched the archive again on the slow screenset thingy. I just bought the Radeon ATI 8500 and it's the same thing: Slow... slow......... slooooowwwww redraws plus after about 20 minutes of working and then trying to open VST plugins (sometimes even built-in plugs) it just stops working. If Audio is playing then I can still hear the song or cycle. Just out of curiosity I let it run once for about an hour to see if maybe the plug-in window will open after that time. Now I don't want to hear that loop anymore ;-) Seriously though, it just kept playing and showing me the clock instead of the mouse pointer and didn't do anything else. So I don't think it has to do with the Graphics card. My setup again: DP G4 533Mhz, 900MB RAM, LAPM 5.5.0, MOTU 2408mkII (by the way: is MOTU ever gonna release an OSX version of the PCI driver... damn, I don't want to buy another.. anyway, I'm rambling) Thanks for the help!
