Subject: [LUG] [LC] Faders not quite right
Message #131840
Hi, Could anyone who owns a Logic Control tell me if their faders have a "scratchy" resistant feeling when moving them. Some of my faders do namely fader 1 and the master. Is there anything you can do? Silicon spray? Also one of my faders is periodically not moving when it's beginning path is set to zero. It kinda gets stuck there. This also happens on power up sometimes when it initially calibrates. All the other faders do their dance except fader one. Then I get the calibaration failed message. The scratchy feeling has always been there on those couple of faders but the sticking fader just started happening. I bought the Logic Control when it first came out if that helps at all. I love the LC, just wondering if anyone knows of a fix or if I have to take it back to GC or call Emagic US? Thanks, David Zeltner David Zetner Productions

Please contact Emagic US. This is definitively a servicing incident. -- Beste Gruesse - best regards, Michael Haydn - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dipl.-Inform. I'd get it looked at by Emagic before it gets worse. Gareth

There is a bit of play in the lateral positioning of the faders, and you may be able to solve your problem by loosening the screws that hold the faders in place, repositioning them and re-tightening. This happened to me with one fader on my unit. HTH. -- The best of times to you all... Pants
