It's done
from the left side set of of parameters. Style, Qua, Interpretation, etc.
You can set a different style for each sequence. The styles are sequence
based, not track based. >>
AND... you need to establish your setting BEFORE recording the sequence. Say
for instance you've recorded a a part on track 1 with the "auto"
style.. the
default. Just changing the score style in the box will not reflect the
change in the sequence. You need to create a new little blip of a sequence,
created with the correct score style, say at bar one, or more
specifically...
farther to the left of the original sequence. Glue them together and
voila... your sequence will now reflect the score syle change.

This is not true. You can change the score style assignment of ANY existing
sequence at any time. It just has to be selected. (When several sequences
are selected, you can even set the style for all of them at once.)
The last line in the instrument parameter box of the Arrange window just
determines the DEFAULT score style for newly recorded or created sequences
on that particular track/instrument. It can always be changed afterwards -
in the display parameter box of the Score window.
