Hi Per I would suggest that you connect the two HDD's to your primary IDE channel, and the two CD drives to the secondary. (Needless to say, set them to master and slave.) FYI, my setup is a P4 Northwood 2,53, 1 Gig DDR RAM, MSI 845 Mobo, matrox G450, Hammerfall, Unitor 8 mk 2, Win XP, 3 IBM ATA 100 drives - master channel 1 OS and programmes, slave channel 1 audio, master channel 2 samples. My CD ROM and Writer are SCSI, on a PCI card. Works great. HTH kind regards Mark Cahill
