Hmm, let's see. www.emagic.de, select "products", select "MT4". Active MIDI transmission is not mentioned at all, whereas it's highly promoted on the AMT8 and Unitor8 pages. So no, it doesn't have AMT... Dunno about the hub thing, but I wouldn't think it needs much power, so it would probably be ok... Ben Hall www.benhall.co.uk

It's NOT as sharp as my old Opcode Studio 3 (serial, non-OMS) was though. > contains emagic's "AMT-active MIDI transmission" like their AMT8? No. > anyone using an MT4 with a TiBook? with a non-powered USB hub? I did for some time with a Ti500 - worked fine. Avoid attaching other devices that draw a lot of current or hog the bandwidth though. Opinion: It's a good choice for OS9 compared to any interface that requires OMS. In OSX, you'll get equivalent midi timing with practically any non-timestamping USB interface, cheaper. (also the OMS driver seems good should you need to use it for an OMS application imho a very cool interface -- Best Regards, Gareth Jones http://www.garethjones.com
