Subject: [LAW] Attention NI Pro-5/52/53 Users!
Message #131763
I just came across a weird bug (issue?) when using my Pro-53 plug-in in Logic 5.5 on the PC: Some of the patches (such as #134 "HPF Welcome") have the mod-wheel set to 50% or more. Unfortunately, Logic seems to reset the plug-in's mod-wheel to zero as soon as the song starts. This completely changes the sound which is dependent on the mod-wheel staying at its 50% position (so as to animate the sound with pulse-width modulation for instance). I've turned off all of the "chase controllers" functions in the Logic preferences but Logic still seems to reset the Pro-53 mod- wheel to zero every time I start the sequencer. Has anyone else experienced this problem? In the whole scheme of things I suppose this isn't the biggest problem. However, it's a drag to have to edit the Pro-53 patch just to get it to sound the same as soon as the sequencer starts. If anyone has a solution, I would greatly appreciate hearing about it. Thanks!

And the same annoying behaviour applies to CC64, Sustain pedal, in case anyone's interested. -- Hendrik Jan Veenstra <h@...> Omega Art: http://www.omega-art.com

I never noticed that behaviour in Pro 53, but I did especially in Absynth, which makes the thing rather unusable. Please Emagic, fix it!!!
