Subject: [LUG] [GEN] 5.5 Output volume question
Message #131685
I have setup a track, and I have it sounding pretty good. I want to mix it down to test out in a few different places, and I noticed that I have my external mixer all the way up to 0db. I have the master volume in logic set to 0db, and I have the output 1-2 at 0db as well. I don't have any other outputs in use at this time. After playing the song all the way through, I have noticed that my volume on output 1-2 to only be around -21db. What is the best way to get this closer to about -6db easily, or maybe I say is there a way to get this up to around -6db without having to go in and increase the volumes on all of my tracks individually. Also, I would like to avoid this in the future, so is a good rule of thumb to get the output to around -6db or another value?? Thanks, Paul
