However, if you use the Sample Editor window, you have two options. 1) Work with Premiere plug-ins. Unfortunately, this is an abandoned format, so availability is questionable. 2) If you have Pro Tools/DAE, you can use Audiosuite plug-ins from the Sample Editor. I sure wish that Logic offered the ability to apply _ANY_ effect destructively. Even VST (soon AU) plugs can be applied this way to selected regions only in other applications (like Peak), which offer a "Bounce VST Plug-Ins" command. All proprietary Logic FX as well should offer this. It can save using a million different tracks and Audio channels just to apply a few discrete effects to pieces of audio.
