Subject: [GEN] - Keycommand suggestion
Message #131664
You know what would be really useful... is if in the keycommands ... you could also sort by keys instead of only by commands. In this way, you could layout your keycommands logically, see what obvious keys don't have any keycommand assignment, etc. For example : (no modifier) Command Option Control shift F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 ... sh-com sh-ctrl sh-opt com-ctrl com-opt ctrl-opt F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 ... a b c d e f

Ok the message that says you can now paste your key commands into a word processor as text, but paste them into a spreadsheet program. Microsoft Excel parses on the fly so that the data end up in three columns. Before you sort consider adding a column that sequences the rows 1,2,3...833 so that if you carry this column along in your sorting you can always sort it back into its original order. Consider also flagging the key strokes you add or change so that you can easily "recustomize" the key commands in a new release of Logic. Regards, Bob Penick

Have really been missing our arguments :-). And yes, the above suggestion is very sensible -- would be very handy indeed. -- Hendrik Jan Veenstra <h@...> Omega Art: http://www.omega-art.com
