QuickDraw is the part of the Macintosh that performs graphic operations
on the user's screen. Other stuff as well, but that would require me
to type an SA to discuss. And well, I don't really want to discuss
nearing dead technology...LOL. You can shut it off, but there will be
a penalty for doing so. Since, QuickDraw, in part is the imaging
engine for all Macintosh computers. Best to just leave it on.
