When i talked to a customer support rep about my concern of compatibility and stability in buying a midi and/or audio interface for my LAMP4.06 on G4, they told me: "anyway, ask before you buy, but don't buy layla, gina or darla, don't buy lexicon or this or don't buy that"...fine... But what I'm really interested in is what SHOULD i buy?--->"Well, protools is the best...." thank you i know, what else? "motu 2408" OK! Just to make sure i email them asking if they support any Both-midi-and-audio-in-one cards?----> "gina or darla work fine as two in one midi and audio..." E-X-C-U-S-E M-E??????? FIRST I'VE HEARD THERE'S COMPATIBILITY PROBLEMS ON THE MAC AND NEITHER DOES MIDI!!!!! The audio hardware tests on the site are dead as dodo and i don't know who to trust anymore, certainly not the salesmen.....can you guys help me out? what about midiman? digi001?
