In the end I decided that the Waves Restoration bundle was the best (at least for me) closely followed by Sonic Laundry (which isn't that much of a surprise since the Waves stuff used to use technology from algorithmix). Unfortunately for you Sonic Laundry is PC only and the Waves Restoration Bundle has a suggested retail price of $1200 which isn't exactly cheap, especially if you'll use it a few times at best. _However_ Waves provides a fully functional demo which works for 14 days.
