Subject: RE: [GEN] MIDI bouncing (was: Frustrated new Logic user needs help!)

Hi Per, >There is actually a way to bounce also your outboard midi synths. Use an >audio input object for the track and simply ad the audio from the >outboard synths to your "mix bounce". You mean as part of a true Bounce with the button? I see no way to bounce the *internal* MIDI instruments via Logic without a physical cable (preferably digital) connecting the soundcard output to input - I've always assumed that's because as far as Logic's concerned it's just control data not an audio stream, so it can't do a digital mixdown. The original poster mentioned recording with "Logic's instruments only" which I confused with internal GM tracks. I did hear of a way to switch it from Windows, but when I tried it made no difference. Cheers, Andy
