Subject: [LAM] My track mixer has turned into a basic old graphics look....
Message #128586
For some reason, and this has never happened before, the mixers have turned into black and white colours and have a completely different graphics style the meter is little blocks and .... just check out the photo I uploaded to the files section called 'my mixer graphics have changed' Anyone had this? I also lost 75% of my vst plugs from the menu within the logic mixer. But they are still in the folder. Another mystery. Anyone had this?

Anyone had this? check the prefs, for "4.x look or 3.x look" (flip menu at the bottom i believe) but this would lead to all windos looking kind of strange for 4.x and 3.x elements will mix is set to 3.x (very very very unlogic once again emagic) if this wouldn't help, i'd export the keyset and trash the prefs file, and reimport the keyset. hth, u.

It just changes the colours. > if this wouldn't help, i'd export the keyset and trash the prefs file, and > reimport the keyset. I might try this. Peace.

Tried to do a bounce for the first time the other day using 10.2 and Logic 5 and a little message popped up saying ASIO is not available, which is true. But does this mean we no longer get to bounce? Any help, I'd be grateful, Giotto

from www.macosrumors.com: "at least one entirely new iApp for music authoring is due out before long that will carry a very reasonable pricetag. Its professional counterpart, however, will run into the several hundreds of dollars and will ship at the same time; neither version is expected to be free."

Perhaps...but as for MacOSRumors.....let us just say their track record is spotty at best. They have a habit of purposefully trying to be vague in order to cover themselves such as one of their comments saying something to the effect of "Apple is set to release 20" HD Cinema screens at 1920x1200 during MacWorld San Francisco, though they may want to ease current inventory so it may not happen until late January-February......or maybe not then but soon." Laughable. As for this supposed iApps "professional counterpart"? It will "run into the several hundreds of dollars"? How vague is that? Apparently the fellow is hardly aware of Logic which is a bit more than "several hundreds of dollars" and conveniently priced right where Apple prices their Pro apps aat $999. So take with a large grain of salt. But hey, they are "due out before long" so that could be any time now right? Take care Jesse Widener
