I just tried chopping up a Steve Gadd drum loop that has a cymbal crash on beat 1, and it just doesn't work. Maybe this is similar to the discussion we had a while back about the EXS24? As I recall it, the EXS24 with multiple outputs saved just a little CPU compared to multiple instances of a stereo EXS24.
