Subject: [LUG] [LAW] Sample Rate Mismatch in Gold v4.0.0 		Message #128425
Hi Could anyone tell me why I get this error message while playing back audio samples in Logic Gold 4.0.0? 'Error while synchronising audio and midi. Sample rate of 48000 detected' The sample continues to play, and the message goes away when I click 'continue' but comes back again a few moments later. I have checked everything I can think of. Sound card is Audigy2 Thanks, Wes.

Step 1: update your version of Logic. You can update up to Gold v4.8.1 for free.. There were many, many bug fixes between 4.0.0 and 4.8.1, there's no legitimate reason to use such an old version at all that I can think of. Best wishes, Jeremy

Hi, All Logic 4.x versions (Silver / Gold / Platinum / Micrologic) can be updated to v4.8.1 free of charge. Just go to http://www3.emagic.de/english/support/download/update.html and look for the right OS / Version number. The Logic Gold v4.8.1 for Windows link is http://www3.emagic.de/english/support/download/lag4win.html Looks like you will first have to download the v4.0 to v4.5 update, then the v4.5 to v4.8.1 update separately. Hello again Jeremy I have tried to find an upgrade but the one you refer to is not for Logic Audio Gold, its for MicroLogic. Logic Audio Gold upgrades start at V5 and there is no free upgrade from 4 to 5. I should also mention that I installed L A Gold on my wifes machine and had no problems at all playing audio samples, it is older, and has a SB AW64 card. Any more ideas? Regards, Wesley
