Hello, I really like the LA software. But the use of it is a kind of "pleasure & pain". And it would make so much sense to have a good handbook. I can tell you the German manual is bad, too. At least in Germany there is a special book around from an independent publisher. A friend of mine bought it and I think I will too, when a 4.0 version is out. He bought LA before me and explained the basics to me. I wonder very much why Emagic gives away these chances of marketing their software. I would have paid a bit more for a more understandable manual. And why does a "second manual" from an independant publisher exist or why is it needed? However, I must admit, also the other software producers have this, e.g. Cubase. I will never change the software, but I wonder. And why do Emagic programers work hard on their great LA features, on details and on the whole software when the Emagic team afterwards does not explain all the features properly? This definitely would also reduce the run on their support telephone lines and reduce e-mails of baffled LA users. J. F.
