Dear Luggers I'm glad there are some people on this list who understand these things, but I can't help thinking that buying the drive from a Mac dealer (no NOT CompUSA!) and having them install it would have saved a lot of time and hassle. I used to work for one of those small Apple dealers and this sounds like more of a computer problem than an integration of Logic with the Mac problem. Would $70 to $125 for labor have been too much to pay for avoiding the issue completely?
