Subject: Re: [LAM] Where are my Plugin Interfaces??????
Message #123025
From: "supaheef" <heathskerman@...> 1. .LSO files created on a PC aren't recognised by MacOS, even though they have the same file extension. ::: PC .LSO files should be imported not simply opened. use 'import' in the file menu and everything will load fine 2. Names of audio files transferred from a PC are only showing 8 characters of their title. ::: you should install the 'Joliet' extension in you OS extensions folder. you can find this as freeware on the web. you can find it here http://www.tempel.org/joliet/ 3. Most un-nervingly, when I open a plugin that has a graphical window (like GoldVerb, Compressor, Tremelo, etc) I get a MacAV error, and it shows the plugin in 'slider' form. ::: mmm not so sure abou this one. you should be able to switch between controllers and editor view from a small menu within the plug-in, but that doesn't explain why all your plug-ins open up in this generic view. maybe a general preferences setting? I will be getting an Mbox for this setup on Monday, but I don't think it will fix the above problems. ::: i've been reading some reports and reviews of the mbox and apparently it's not really ideal for use with logic, unless the drivers have changed since then off course... hope this helps, arne
