Not sure if you are talking PC here, but if so: COMM 1 & COMM 3 use the same IRQ as does COMM 2 & COMM 4 (IRQ 4 & IRQ respectively, so you cannot use both COMM 1 & COMM 3 at the same time. The best thing to do with modems is use a newer PCI type that will abide by the PCI 2.1 standards and use something like IRQ 11 etc. Phil
