Subject: Re: Midi/Audio sync problems
Message #8383
I also have a problem with syncing MIDI and Audio in LAWP. The problem occurs when I have about 8 audio tracks and MIDI (10 tracks). When I press play on the transport bar, the audio is slightly out of sync (behind) but over the course of a few bars, it gets back in sync. If I press play and the audio is out of sync but then I quickly touch the fast-forward or rewind button on the transport, the audio goes back in sync. If I press play after pausing it is much better. This is a tip that I picked up on the list and is a really useful work around (Thank you ). This sync thing became a bit less of a problem when I got a faster hard drive. The thing is that my girlfriend uses Cubase for some of her collaborative work and even on the slow drive it seems to run more audio with none of these syncing problems. I'm using a SBLive card with its MME drivers. Cheers Mari-zu
