Anybody know of osX drivers for these cards Audiowerk8 + Korg12012 ?

AudioWerk8 drivers are in development (this question was answered by the
developers themselves in the Beta testers Forum).
Don't know about Korg, but, if I remember well, i think someone already
asked, and they told they will unlikely release OS X drivers to it (it's
too old, anyway, and probably don't fit today standards).

AW8 and AW2 are basically the same card, with just a different number of
I/Os. The drivers were the same, therefore, we can assume that as soon
as we'll have drivers for AW8, we will have drivers for AW2.

Old thread I know, but how many of us are avoiding the leap to LA in OSX
until this little issue is cleared up??
i know I am.
maybe we would all be better off upgrading our audio IO. but that's
certainly no excuse for no AWX drivers.
I thought AudioUnits was relatively simple to code for...I actually saw the
word "trivial" used in reference to a VST wrapper ;-) or are
device drivers at different matter. In the good old days it was unacceptable
for an "update" to lose features or capabilities.
If Emagic doesn't have the time then maybe they would opensource the specs
for the AWX card and let someone else step in.

Please, be patient. Actually, there is so little you can do in OS X
right now that it's better to go to OS 9 to work, and make a visit every
now and then to OS X just to see how things are going. Even the Core
MIDI isn't working completely yet, AU's released are just from smaller
independet companys, etc.
Regarding AW drivers, all I can say now is... They are in the works,
will come (soon I guess), and they will come for both AW2 and AW8. I
can't say no more than this, sorry.

actually, if i could record audio in to my mac through my AW2 card i
wouldn't need OS 9 at all. kind of funny that lots of other audio
interfaces have X drivers apart from the emagic ones!!
