Hi,
In my experience, coding of a .wav file to MP3 and subesquent decoding back
to .wav results in very little sonic degradation. I have to resort to this
method of sending files over the internet from time to time, and while it is
not perfect, it is the easiest solution, and offers by far the greatest
compression ratio. Zap from Emagic, and Winrar are other alternatives you
could try.
