Hi all,
In the files section of the yahoo page there's a file called "MPC
Grooves" which I assume is the groove templates from the legendary MPC
2000. Unfortunately, there is no extension on this file and I've tried
all the obvious things; it doesn't seem to be a midi file, won't import
as a groove template, isn't a zip or sit or text file as far as I can
see. Does anyone (perhaps the original poster?) know how to use this
file or failing that, have the MPC grooves in midi or groove format?
TIA

Actually it IS a midi file. Try dragging and dropping it from the finder (
don't know about PC, sorry) on to an arrange window - create at least 20
tracks first

Aha! Drag and drop doesn't work on a PC, but if you import from the file
menu logic converts from Mac format and creates a new environment.
Many thanks,
