Before sending anything out I always edit the master wav file with Soundforge (2-track editor). This is where the final conversion to mp3 takes place. This way I can use a codec plugin I purchased separately to convert wav to mp3. Before the conversion I usually tweak the file then convert. Right tool for the right job. Seems to me Emagic already has everything but the kitchen sync (ha-ha) stuffed into Logic, I think it's already becoming a bit unwieldy. There's quite a few bugs need fixing... it would be nice to tie up some loose ends before adding even more. That said.... it probably isn't that difficult to add an mp3 export function. However, they would have to license an mp3 codec.... which may be a moot point now as Apple most likely can supply one. Howard
