I've just got my new copy of version 5 installed (upgrading from 3), so I'm having a few teething problems, any answers/solutions to any of these would be greatly appreciated! 1) When clicking on the speaker icon in the 'sample edit' window to audition the sample, the sample plays back with a slight initial glitch in the first few milliseconds - doesn't do this when it loops back round though. 2) No audio playback after waking the hard-drive up from 'sleep' mode, have to reboot Logic 3) Bizarre, what I can only describe as a kind of 'car revving' speeding up and slowing down sound eminating from my G4 (dual 867), which has only happened since installing Logic. Sounds maybe like the fan is constantly changing speed? - anyone else had this, it's driving me insane! 4) I can only get a record signal on audio tracks 3&4 (I'm using AMIII and Direct I/O) 5) On arrange page, at one point I couldn't drag an audio sample back to the start of the track, it would let me drag it so far (about a bar from the start) and then just wouldn't let me move it any further! 6) Is there anything I can do about the stripey backdrop on the arrange page - it's horrible.
