Hey kids, So I get this call from a couple of musicians, one writing with Protools the other writing on a Mackie HDR. Now they need to consolidate the whole banana and begin mixing/editing. I would like to finish their project on logic because of track count and ease, especially with music. I¹m running a MOTU2408 with my logic rig. Using the analog converters is of course out of the question. So I have to get a ProTools session into logic and an HDR session too. I guess I should use OMF for the tools session, but I have no idea about the Mackie deal. Should I lightpipe it in? Is there a tool to convert Mackie sessions to Logic/OMF? And the guys want to swap each others sessions, meaning get the ProTools session into Mackie and vice versa. Is there a ³simple² way to export pieces from logic/protools to a Mackie HDR session? Any tips or recommendations would be helpful. thanks Ciao Gio
