I can see midi getting to the UnitorControl Midi Monitor but not the MidiIn
in the Logic transport window which is where I was checking for it.
I know from this observation and watching the lights on the AMT8 that Midi
is coming out of the SunSyn and getting to the AMT8/Unitor Control but I
can't figure why nothing is getting into Logic.
I am checking in play and record modes.
Is there a filter setting somewhere that I am missing. I have initialized
the UnitorControl settings and rebuilt a simple environment for one sound
module(Sunsyn) and one Keyboard (DX11). It consists of a layer with a
physical input wired into sequence input. Two instruments, one multi for the
DX11 and one for the SunSyn which is operating in Single timbral mode are on
the same layer and are programmed for the AMT8 ports that they are on.
The AMT8 is connected to the same hub as the Logic and Reaktor dongle.
Could this be a problem? But there is something getting to Unitarcontrols
midi monitor from tweaking Sunsyn knobs so it seems unlikely to be a USB/hub
problem.
The RME Multiface is the newest addition and the thing that brought me back
to my Logic system after editing Video for 6 months, but I didn't see any
new RME extension that would interfere with midi to the AMT8.
I have OMS extensions disabled. They were there for Reaktor standalone.
I don't know how to word this any better because I think there must be
something that I am missing.
Aaargh!
