I'm surprised that there was no mention of this on the list yesterday. Am I the only one who ordered an upgrad from Gold 4.xx to Gold 5.x? I placed my order back in August and have called a few times to follow up. Last week I spoke with Dave Smith at EMagic USA and he said it would go out at the end of the week and, "I would be very pleased." The box arrived yesterday and in it was a full version of Platinum. I don't even have to return my old dongle and CD. **Speculation ALERT* All I can think is that this is how they're disposing of the inventory Guitar Center sent back. I just got my upgrade from LAW Gold 4 to Plat 5. I paid $400 US for it, only to discover that I could've bought the full version for less -- SBT is clearing them out for $550 Cnd (about $350 US). Well, sorta... after taxes, it would've worked out to be the same. Still...
