Ok, now I've had Logic for OSX up and running for almost 2 days
straight. It hasn't crashed it hasn't hung. I've left it running and
and have switching back and forth between other apps and Logic. So far
it hasn't crashed. Songs play great and the audio isn't glitching. So
from this standpoint it's extremely cool, I'll write that again:
EXTREMELY COOL. Is there another audio app available in any incarnation
that can run for days without a crash and no restart of the machine? I
don't know if I could do that even in OS9 when my crashes were rare,
but did occur on occasion. I think I'll leave Logic running for several
days longer, just to see what happens. I'll keep you all posted.

Barring dodgy audio hardware drivers etc, it should be possible
to run it for months ... at one point my uptime on the OSX
Powerbook was a few weeks, until I had to switch back to OS9
for Logic. I have an old unsupported Umax clone running OSX
that's cheerfully been up for 6 months and going strong.
I'll be very pleased when I can work exclusively in X, it's just
waaay more stable than 9. And 9 isn't all that unstable.

Jody, your test will reveal if LAMX has no memory leaks. If it does,
you'll see the system slow down in time, in need of mem. resources.
Keep us posted.
