That is a pretty huge assumption there my friend. To clarify: 5.3 is simply the first OSX version of Logic. OS9 versions are still being developed. For VST vs AU... well, it is a new standard, other manufacturers will embrace the standard. This is a good thing. VST is/was a Steinberg technology. Steinberg have never been that forthcoming with Emagic, as they are the competition, regarding technical specs, SDK's and such. AU is an Apple technology. Emagic=Apple=good, m'kay? JR
