Subject: [LUG] [GEN] Something's gone wrong in a song
Message #117537
>Hi all >My studio was hired out today and the engineer found a bug that has popped it's head up in this one >particular song. >What they did was copy a guitar part from the first chorus to the other chorus's in the song. Then I went >to show them how to clean up the tail end of each region for noise etc. Now, when I changed the region >lengh of any of the copied or original guitar part, all of them changed, even though only one of them was >selected. Sorry, I found out what had gone wrong. The engineer must of had the shift key held down at the same time while copying. I just tried copying more guitar parts without the shift key held down and all was fine. Then I tried with the shift key and it does what happened today - all objects changes in size even though only one selected. What is the actual term/reason for holding the shift key down while copying? Thanks Kim
