I know that the below are Apple issues but Apple has (regarding Audio MIDI
Setup) only one document on their web site: there is no information on how
to use the application. It seems like a 1.0 effort! :- <<< (Mona

Perhaps you can send this kind of feedback up the ladder!
When I run Audio MIDI Setup and have it scan for my devices I only get it to
see my AMT8, it does not see the stuff hooked up to the AMT8. If I manually
add devices and cable them to and from the AMT8 it looks ok but upon
rescanning the cables get erased.
However, I can access my various MIDI devices from inside Logic so I do not
know what the problem is.
BTW - the icon shells (the somewhat circular, somewhat rectangular frames
around the actual device icons) sure take up a lot of screen room.
