Yes it is possible but of course the signal won't be "enhanced" by
a good
quality mic pre. At least now with 5.12 you can destructively use some plug
ins like "Rennaisance Compressor" to control peaks & dips.
Ggood for demo vocals if away from a studio environment but not recommended
for finished vocals.
Having said that however, a good performance is as a good performance and
with a little imagination you could route a non mic pre'd vocal back out and
through a mic pre after the fact as long as the signal had no digital
clipping.

Ah, the mic pre myth.. I have used a few "pro" mic pre's, like
Neve,
API, and Trident over the years. I now use a great tube mic going into
a great D/A converter, and use plugins to compress, etc. I can't hear
much difference between the tracks recorded with the two types of
systems. I suggest listening and testing for yourself.

Good mic pres do not just "enhance" a signal, they minimise
artefacts, noise and
other assorted undesirable colouration.

The real benefit of high quality mic pres is the non-use of a lower quality
mic
inputs on a desk in the first instance. You are probably aware of this but I
suspect your post might confuse some lesser experienced Logic users into
thinking all can be repaired after most of the damage has been done. Garbage
In
Garbage Out always applys.
I am sure there is someone on this list who can recommend a good value,
low-cost, mono mic pre solution (with digi-out?).
Let's try not to get too off-topic.

The prupose of a Mic Pre is to bring a microphone level signal up to line
level (since a microphone signal is not loud enough to be processed without
getting destroyed by RF and noise). Becuase the prcess involves making a
copy of the original signal, there is always some sort of tonal footprint.
The better the mic pre the better a footprint. Microphones are like your
paint brushes and Mic pres are like your colors to paint with. This is
generally one of the more important links in the audio chain. Cheers!
