Right ON!!!! Already downloaded and up and running with the Delta 1010.
Very cool indeed. Too bad that I haven't got any waves or battery stuff
for X yet. But I'm jazzed to have a native version. OS9 is practically
gone from view, yippee.

Ya, but no VSTi's, or plugins, no rex import.. I guess OS9 is still around
for old stuff, though I'll try to do any new work with it.. I'm still
jazzed..

Zappa quote:
"This is the CENTRAL SCRUTINIZER.. As you can see MUSIC [software] can
get
you pretty f***ed up... Take a tip from Joe, do like he did, hock your
imaginary guitar (computer) and get a good job... Joe did, and he's a happy
guy now,"
Things I have noticed so far:
1) In Apple's "Audio MIDI Setup" utility, the manufacturers list
and model list
are empty. (Actaully though, according to an Apple TIL document, this is the
normal behavior - it looks like this is an unfinished feature).
Hey emagic, now that you and Apple are buddies, how about giving them all
of your device pictures from SoundDiver!
2) Not sure how to import preferences from OS 9. ( The major issue being
that
I have customized all my object colors, and now all my songs are colored
strangely.) Are the preference files exchangeable between OS 9 and OS X?
But other than this, eveything seems to be working pretty darn flawlessly.
Even the conversion of complex ASIO based song to Core Audio song,
brought over all the tracks as expected. I am impressed!

Yes, simply move file "/System Folder/Preferences/Logic 5
Preferences" to folder
"/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences" and
rename it to "info.emagic.logic"
