...looking at the read me files on web page I see that Logic does not
support VST plug ins under OS X..at least now.
This means that many freeware plug ins will not work under OS X :-(
I hope those will be ported to Audio Units. I think at this moment
there is also no support for AW 8 but I hope Emagic will still
support it....please. The download speed isn't earth shattering so I
guess other too have found out that it is available now. We'll see in
about 30 minutes from now...I can't wait....

They have to be ported to OS X anyway. i.e., "carbonized".
Emagic are offering to developers a free library that makes it easy to
port existing plugins to Audio Units...

I did not write clearly, sorry... I was talking about already ported
VST plug ins..the ones that work on free Spark ME for example. I do
know that VST plug ins under OS 9 do not work under OS X.
