Nick,
AFAIK, Logic has never had the ability to sync to ADAT 9 pin- if that's
what you are asking about. Even if your audio interface has the
connectors to do so, logic (as yet) can't access them to do sample
accurate 9 pin sync. This has been lamented numerous times on this
list. It works flawlessly in Audio Desk (Mac only software bundled with
MOTU 2408), but no joy in Logic. I would love to be proven wrong
however :)
Didn't Emagic OEM the software bundled w/ the PCR that does sync to ADAT
9 pin? Strange if so...
I can use the ADAT converters w/ my 2408 with no problems. Everyone
raves about the hammerfall :)
Good luck,
Russ

The Hammerfall DSP Multiface and Digiface have an ADAT 9pin sync in
connector. However, this is for sourcing wordclock only from the 9pin
and not for timecode. The Hammerfall drivers do not contain an MTC
driver that would pass timecode on to Logic.
This was actually an ugly surprise for me. I still have to use my
Sonorus StudI/O with SyncI/O card for doing ADAT transfers into Logic.
You're right, the PCR card is worthless.
Good Luck,
Randall
