Hi, I've been pulling my hair out for the last two days. I've worked with Logic for 7 years now and it's always been fine. Now all of a sudden I have this horrifying error: whatever soundfile I place in the arrangewindow, on whatever track, it does NOT play. If I open the file in the sampleeditor, it plays back fine, on the right channel (track). In the audioweindow no problems either. But as soon as I hit play from the arrangewindow, somehow Logic doesn't respond to the soundfile any longer. Not even the meters in the tracklist or the environment respond. I've tried a lot of things already; different soundcards, different drivers, even MacAV. In ALL the Logic versions that are available to me the same problem occurs. Anybody?? Thanx, O.

Have you just added more RAM to your computer? Do you have more than 1 Gig? Try assigning more memory to logic (up to 500000K if necessary).
