Subject: [LAW] Th best way to back-up ALL data
Message #114586
Could anyone advise me of the best way of backing up ALL my Logic data onto a CD. The main problem is the EXS24. This is due to the fact that I have all of my samples and patches stored on my hard drive. Is there a simple way to save everything into ONE directory so that this can then be burned onto a CD. Any help would be great. Latez Mart

Look in the Logic v4 readme somewhere -- I forget which version exactly but somewhere near 4.7 or 4.8 Emagic made new key commands for use in the EXS24 to move all samples for a given .exs instrument into the same folder for backing up. If I remember correctly I think there are actually a couple different key commands to do this in different ways. Jeremy http://www.ixks.com/~sadus
