Hey if you are experiencing a flange type sound or the phasing out with you midi tracks, Be sure to that function called "Local" or Local switch in your keyboard or module that you are using is turned to off... This feature should be off during and when using Logic... But be sure to turn it back on when you are not using it in Logic, because if not you will not hear anything... In Roland devices I believe, if im not mistaken ,this feature is located under the utility or system and in Korg it is found in Global section of hte keyboard.... But this should definately fix that problem if its what your talking about... Brother Love Canal wrote: I am experiencing a bizarre phasing problem on my midi Tracks on L.A. 5.1 using the AMT 8. The drum channels on my 2 main synths (the Roland JV1080 and the Kurzweil K2000) produce a flanging or a phasing effect when I use any of the mapped drums. I figure I have a timing problem but I can't figure out what or how. Anyone else have this problem? It seems the MIDI events are sent twice. Check the cabling of your >mapped drum instrument.
